Woah, it's been a little over a month!?

I just realized that it has been a month since I started this adventure. Sometimes it has been hard, and other times I have been able to do it without a problem. Before starting this fasting diet, I had been dieting "traditionally" for a little while after reaching an all time high weight of 236lb. I mention that because as of this morning I am now 10lb down from that weight! I weighed in at 226 today!

I know I still have a long way to go, but it feels like a huge accomplishment. I am now more motivated than ever for this next 10 lb. I hope that when I get that off I will at least be in a smaller pants size... as unfortunately I have not gotten down a size yet.

I think that now that I have been at this just over a month, it is safe to say it is a diet plan I can really stick to, especially because it is so forgiving and flexable. I am curious to know if anyone else has tried it out and how it is working. So if you have chime in in the comments! Till next time friends!

Ah back on track! You never realize how much being out of town more than you are home for two or three weeks can get you totally out of whack. Hubby and I have been traveling for work, and play. First was nearly a week in NJ for the big irish wholesale show. That was actually pretty cool. We met some cool new people on BOTH sides of the pond... heh.

Then was a small trip across most of the state, that was mostly to visit friends which is always fun! Our third trip was out to the coast of Massachusets! We worked our butts off setting up and tearing down a show, but in between we got to go up to the Sam Adams brewery and take the trolly to Doyle's. Then we went to a friends for a cookout/birthday party! So much fun.

All of this did cause me to fall a few steps back in my progress and with the fasting. But I am back on track and yesterday was a good fast day, and I am back down to the 227.5 that I was in my last posting! Which all in all isn't too bad considering all the travel, and travel eating heh.

Yesterday was surprisingly easy to fast, mostly because we had a very VERY busy day at work! My company was at the NYS Assembly/Senate building taking orders for personalized embroidered apparel. We were busy enough that my nonfat latte (no sugar) and wheat bagel with low fat cream cheese lasted me the whole day! And then by the time we got home after stopping at the store cooking dinner took me to the end of the fast. Couldn't have planned that better if I tried! Haha.

I am still so motivated and excited about this diet and about how much better I am feeling already. It's really encouraging to see results, as much as I have always tried to focus more on just general health, it feels good to see this kind of progress! Until my next fast, bye!
